On nomenclature

λόγος (lógos) m

  1. That which is said: word, sentence, speech, story, debate, utterance, argument

  2. That which is thought: reason, consideration, computation, reckoning.

About me

I’m married and have two children.

I live in the UK, before which I lived in China, before which I lived in the UK, before which I lived in Switzerland, before which I lived in the UK, before which I lived in Greece. I learnt the languages spoken in these countries except Italian, Romansh, and all Chinese dialects other than Mandarin. I can’t really speak German or Mandarin any more.

I’ve worked in banking, technology, and consumer goods, in roles ranging from factory CFO to product manager.
